The woman died by falling off of a tree but she was trying to get a look at one of the faries. There was also a picture that they zoomed in on the little girl's eye and they saw a fairy's reflection in it? PLEASE HELP.

Was it a Disney movie? I never saw the beginning of Toothless, so I don't know how Kirsty Alley dies but she starred in the movie for Disney. If that's not it, I don't know how else to help you.
