It seems pretty obvious to me that the foreskin on the penis is important for the sensitivity and the protection of the gland. Many men have reported a loss of sensitivty after having been circumcised (just an exemple: http://www.circumcision.org/adults.htm).
The sensitivity question is rarelly raised when circumcizing newborn boys. Why? If proven true, could this be the greatest scandal in the history of men?

i do know that the sensitivity is lossed due to like you imply because of new exposure in your pants. Function is maintained but never the same. I know by experience of my own in my early twenties.

I do believe you are correct. The moist foreskin does make head of the penis more sensitive but with that said since most circumcision are done when they are just newly born so there is nothing unusual about being man with the less sensitive penis. This issue becomes a problem only when older men are circumcised and suddenly realize that achieve an orgasm demands a little more work and technique in bed. This no scandal. The loss of sensitivity means nothing for most purposes and has been known for years.

The circumcision is still recommended for health reasons and since most men in the US are circumcised at birth they grow up with a less sensitive penis.

Circumcision of male babies should be considered child abuse!

Cut men, even those who were mutilated as infants, can have difficulty achieving orgasm as they reach early middle age, and many routinely have to finish "by hand," which makes their wives/girlfriends feel inadequate and unneeded. Which can really stress a relationship.

Nobody should have the right to do this to a child.

I had mine cut at 37 yrs. I love it. The head initially was constantly rubbing on my briefs but soon i became numb to all rubbing.

But once I am hard and put on the lube, and jerk off - I come in less than 30 seconds. I swear this is true. the entire dick, both the head and the shaft - feel delightfully sensitive to pure joyful nerve impulses.

i never had a problem. I can come even if totally limp when I can't get hard. And sensitivity and pleasure is explosive.

i just love being circumcised. And I love guys with cut *****. I'll suck them dry.

Have these men who report loss of senstivity been sexually active before they have the op? The main reason for circumscision of an adult is because the man hasn't kept his penis clean and he has contracted an infection. Sure there will be some loss of sensitivity after the op but it may have been an essential procedure.
Having my cock sucked for an hour would be great.

The reason for circumcission when you're an
infant is because of the speady healing process
they don't have to numb an infant they just remove the excess skin. When you become an
adult you have to go through an entirely different process you just don't heal the same.
There is usually a numbness around any incission that you might have after surgery.

It's called Male Genital Mutilation. When a male's penis has been mutilated he will eventually lose all sensitivity in the head of his dick.

My boyfriend has been sexually mutilated. The only way he can climax is for me to suck him off. It takes about an hour for me to suck him off and make him climax in my mouth.

It is possible. But I haven't seen any scientific proof of that.
