My boyfriend just left me to go over to his friends house for dinner. We was going to his parents house but he said no lets go to my friends house first then we can go to my parents house. I said no way because I want some soul food that I know was made right.

No. You want good food that you know is good on Thanksgiving. You were just being real with him. Nothing wrong with that.

I don't think you were wrong. Would it have been so terrible though to stop by his friends house on the way to his parents?? Sometimes your plans change or get sidetracked, go with the flow and you'll always end up getting to where you were going.

No one was wrong. If you didn't want to go to his friend's house, you don't have to. But he still has every right to go to his friend's house.

it sounds like you are judging hisf friends and that is the worst thing you can do. try and be friends with his friends and same for him cause if they loose friends over you they will never let you forget it.
