Go to Start - Control Panel - Add/Remove programs and uninstall it from there. After you're done, go here and get a good and free antivirus program:

Click Start. Go to Control Panel. Click Add or Remove Programs. Then find norton and Remove it. If this does not work then u may need to get a removal tool which u can get at symantec.com. That will uninstall it for u.
