An insulator is a material containing no electrical charges. When a voltage is sent across an insulator, no charges flow, so there is no electrical voltage
Generally, all non metals materials are good insulators.Such as plastic, glass, rubber(frying pot handle)

Remember, there are three properties of heat transfer: Conduction, Convection and Radiation. Just address each one of these properties and how you prevented heat from transferring from the inside of your container to the outside environment. You might not even have to address radiation unless you are doing the experiment outside at night. Most of your materials are good insulators (are you talking about fibreglass insulation or fibreglass/resin epoxy?) If you have fibreglass insulation, that's the best insulator on the list. EDIT: The reason I say that fibreglass insulation is most likely the best one on your list is because it is very likely that the fibreglass you are using is thicker than the polystyrene (styrofoam) you have. Yes, styrofoam is a better insulator for the same thickness of material, but the thicker the material, the better insulator it is. Thick fiberglass insulation is far far superior to thin styrofoam.

Loads of materials, but it depends on whether you want to know about heat insulation, sound insulation, electrical insulation or whatever. Can you be more specific, please?
