Try a shopping exercise. They can learn basic greetings, names of items, how to ask how much things cost etc, so they will also learn money and coinage. please, thankyou and goodbyes. You can also cover any cultural dfferences, such as queueing, signs in shop windows showng opening times etc. Its also very useful, as everyone needs to do this, and will help with confidence in a foreign country.
