No. I'm guessing that you're asking about connecting multiple computers to one incoming broadband connection. To do this you would need to place a router after your modem. The line out from the modem would connect to the WAN port on the router. You would than hardwire each connection you wanted.
On the off chance that you're talking about load balancing/shotgunning...no, you can't do this with one connection. You would need to seperate connections, one Cable and one DSL for example, and a router that was capable of load balancing. This would not have a huge difference on your connection speed, but would provide load balancing (each connection would handle a portion of your incoming and outgoing traffic) or provide a fall over connection (lose one connection, the other would kick on)

Are you talking about using two cable modems plugged into the same same main calbe in the house? if so the answer is no. If you are talking about using two modems and two cable lines yes.
you can add bandwidth by adding another cable line to the house and double your d/l speed. however you need to have two networks cards and software that will allow you to load balance the data.

you CANNOT use two modems in one broadband connection. if you want to use two computers at the same time to be connected to the internet then you have to buy a router... if you are only use one computer and it has ethernet connection then no need for the router, one modem can handle your connection.

Yes you need a router, but I could never get mine to work properly, it was constantly shunting one computer offline and the "second" computer would only have a trickle of the downloads.
