First you'll have to convert the video to mpeg4 - if you didn't receive software with the device to do this just google for a DVD ripper, from someone like imToo but they're all pretty much the same.
From what I've found out about your player it doesn't seem to support AAC audio so iPod videos probably won't work on it (mpeg4 comes in many variations).
If you're feeling brave you could try WinFF

it's a free front end for FFMPEG (a very widely used transcoding engine) which will let you customise the codec.

you ought to transform your avi to vob (DVD) format. The utility i exploit to do it is referred to as convertxtodvd. you ought to pay for it, notwithstanding it particularly is somewhat consumer-friendly to apply. merely drag and drop the record you want switched over right into a field and click one million button. it might additionally burn it for you too. And that's a quite rapid technique. (relies upon on your laptop and the DVD burner). to transform a one million hour 20min movie with out a menu, purely a identify and then burn it took under an hour for me. I even have a twin center processor workstation with an exterior x16 LG burner. upload yet another 20mins for lightscribe labelling on good of that (in case you have that as an option).
