Where do you find an agent? Is the cost high? Can Hollywood producers recognize you out in a restaurant or at the movies or something, or do YOU come to THEM? Thanks. :-)

please, please, my dear - do not pay money to get an agent.

The point of an agent is that they get paid when you get paid. So if you get a part, they take 10% of what you earn. And that's it. That's all. 10%. Of what you earn from the work they got you. So you get a part, you make $600, they get $60. period. You make nothing and they make nothing. so they work hard to get you good auditions so you will make money and they will make money.

this is all a legal, legitimate agent is allowed to do.

there are books and websites that list the legitimate agents in Los Angeles. The only money it should cost you is the cost of sending them your photo in the first place.

An agent can get you auditions for roles on all kinds of things, including the disney channel, if there is something they think you could play a part in. You can get auditions in other ways, through online casting websites and just sending your pictures to people, and you can get really lucky and meet the right person by accident, but having an agent to get you into meetings and auditions is the best way.

You shouldn't go strait for Disney Channel. Try something easier..like a small part in a movie. To get onto Disney Channel you'll need back round.

Sometimes they have annocements on the radio or you can look for casting calls online or pehaps you could contact diseny. I doubt you can find an agent who works for diseny. It doesn't really work like that.

THE MORE YOU PAY THE BETTER. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. YOUR MOM CAN BE YOUR AGENT BUT SHE CANT GET YOU WORK LIKE ONE YOU PAY REAL MONEY FOR CAN.
