We won't know until next year to see if he keeps it up but all signs point to him being better than the real thing. Of course, eventually he'll come down to Earth but let's just enjoy him while we are watching.
The best comparision I can think of, may just be John Elway (for the best possible one). He doesn't have speed necessarily but has above-average mobility and arm. He's got a high football IQ, work ethic, charisma and all he needs to become more than great, is to win a SB ring.
So, ask this question in 2008 and we shall see but I believe it.

I have to agree. The Bills are not a very good team, and as you pointed out many people must of forgot about this (especially the announcers). The bills couldn't drive the ball, their offense was useless in this game, and if it wasn't for a great show of defense, it would of been the blowout everyone expected. Their D made big plays and capitalized right then and there. regardless he isn't given enough credit for keeping his team in the game by being a leader, there is a reason that his teammates stayed focused, because he told them to. I'm sure every huddle, and on the sidelines he kept telling his teammates to stay in the game because he can and will win it for them. Now if it would of been any other team, I think the Cowboys would be experiencing a loss right now instead of a win, but it wasn't , it was the Bills (not trying to take anything away from their win). Next week, Tony had better play alot better or he is going to be looking at a 40 point loss, the Patriots will not be as kind as to not put points on the board on offense. On a side note, I hate the Cowboys, I am a die hard Steelers fan so it took great pain to throw so many compliments out to the Cowboys team and to their QB. Go Steelers!

He's from WIsconsin. Obviosly he's a stud. Just ask your husband who he'd rather have at QB - Tony Romo or Jeff Garcia? If he answers Garcia, just say better lick next year. No McNabb = no playoffs for Philly. He is playing very wll, but don't get too high with Romo fever quite yet, just ask Parcells. Romo still has a lot left to prove as a starting QB in the NFL

Best discovery since Tom Brady, ....wait a minute......Bledsoe was starting when Brady and Romo got a chance to become a STAR! LOL, jus-jo-kin. I knew that! Yeah Romo will be a good QB, how good just remains to be seen! When he wins a game against a superbowl contender or playoff game we will know, these games are a true test of champions. -Playbookcritic
