I know the feeling, and I think most people can relate. But you really can't go around looking for "somebody to eventually fall in love with." The very first thing you must do is develop as a person until you don't NEED somebody else. Look at the time you're spending as a single as a great time to delve whole-heartedly into your interests and hobbies and to learn about yourself. Get out there and work towards your potential, and you'll have a MUCH better chance of finding that "special someone" who really IS special! Best of luck!

Well it is harder, I believe, for homosexuals to find a great mate. Simply because most people hide it because of a fear of being judged. And sometimes it can depend on where you live at. You should try and find some gay clubs in your area and start to meet people there. Or if you place of residence is like mine, were there are no gay clubs AT ALL, your search is going to be harder. You should move as soon as possible like i plan to. GOOD LUCK!

stop looking! no one who looks desperate will attract another person and why in the godesses name do you need another family? think about that statement a little, maybe a little work to do in that direction?
i can understand what you are saying though as i have been there in the past myself, i had all but given up hope when.... whooosh there she was! try to be patient - difficult at the best of times, i know - and all will be well - there is someone for everyone, that soul mate will appear, blessings. Make as many friends as you can. Go to all the gay functions. Do a search in your area of gay social clubs. Type in gay (name of your nearest city) and hit search. You can't fall in love if you don't get out there and meet people!

I am not gay but finding that special someone can be hard for anyone. My suggestion is to keep being positive. Everyone is attracted to confidence! Good luck with your search.

I wish there was something I could tell you, but I'm a straight woman with the same problem as you. Just the way it goes sometimes.

Good f-ing luck. I am straight and having the same problem, and I assume that it has to be easier for me to find a partner that it ever will be for you.
