Pal, you can spank anything you want to spank. Just don't do it in public, or you just might be sorry! But, I do hope your turkey lets loose with the stuffing. Also, watch out for the animal rights people. They may have something to say about such behavior, if they catch you! And then you have to keep an eye out for PETA. "People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals", they would definitely not like the idea of you beating your bird, in public, or otherwise. Can you blame them, with a question such as yours? Hahahaha! I've never see a recipe where this is one of the steps, but give it a try. The turkey is done for any way so what does anyone have to loose.

Go right ahead if you think it'll work. Just make sure you don't spank it so hard that you lose your grip of the whole thing while it catapults through the air and into the dogs mouth!
