finally i got a call back from a friend i went to school with 10 years ago.hes been calling everyday and things were going okay but then the other night we had an arguement cuz he was acting a bit immature and he was irritating me so i told him several times that we should just hang up but for some reason he still didnt not want to he just kept changing the subject.after about 20 mins we got ready to hang up and he sounded a bit sad and dissapointed. we havent spoke since its been 2 days.does anyone think this is the end of our friendship?

maybe he feels stupid now that you told him he was acting immature, maybe call or go see him and talk to him but be reasonable and apologize for sounding so harsh on him,but how ever do tell him in a nice way that he has been acting strange and it bothers you, than maybe he will calm down and act more grown up,he probably didn't want to hang up cause he was trying to see if you still wanted anything to do with him.

true friends are hard to come by talk things out and get it resolved.

As far as the end of a friendship....I don't think that is probably the issue here....you said he was acting immature and you called him on it...then he gets sad and stuff....he could be feeling bad about acting childish...what was his personality in school?....was he apt to act that way then?....some people don't change much in ten years, others change totally.... I had a situation once like yours .....mine turned out to be just an occasional e-mail to my friend....she wanted to always "push" me to be things I just wasn't capable of being ...or simply didn't want to....maybe you can contact him.....get a clue as to how he feels....it's been a couple of days ...time to cool down and all.....good luck, friend..!

Why haven't you spoken? Did you try to call? Maybe something has come up and your friend has been busy. Call and find out.

Why don't you try calling him and find out.

We couldn't answer this question because it's something you have to ask him.
