This is a free opinion centre, and those who answers a rated by the questioner? The asker might get his problem solved, and those who answer can be ready to take a counselling course, because they attemp to answer.
I beleive you should be a counsellor as well, because you are trying to figure out why people participate in this forum, for me I just try to improve my skills and knowledge.

Try to figure out yourself why you are here too. For me I am trying to help out people solve their problems by sharing my personal knowledge. I think you should do that too instead of asking silly questions and snooping at other people's problems.
