A kilobyte (derived from the SI prefix kilo-, meaning 1000) is a unit of information or computer storage equal to either 1024 or 1000 bytes.
Megabyte: personal computers, are given as 1 megabyte = 1,048,576 bytes .

With a byte being one unit....
A Kilobyte is 1024 bytes
A Megabyte therefore would be 1,048,576 bytes.
Thus you can clearly see that a Megabye would be bigger than a Kilobyte.
