People may be unhappy at first, but unpleasantness toward one another takes a lot of negative effort. Effort that most people do not have the energy to focus on in the long run. Amicability (if that's a word?) will come in time.

From working with many different people over 95% are. The other five "percentiles" have a perception that I have done something to piss them off.
