Erica is a pretty name.
It's a feminine version of Eric.
I knew an Erica when I went on a weekend trip. I spent time talking to a young girl in a pool who's name was Erica.

I think Erica is an American name - definitely NOT latin; I know of a few Erica's...it's more of a classier name, I'd say. Well, the ones that I know of aren't very classy at all, but I do like their name. Another person on here spelled it Aarika - that's a good alternative, too!

I like the name Erica. I used to work with someone name Erica who was gorgeous. My daughter's bf is Erica. It's a pretty name. There is a book that gives "descriptions" of the person based on the name - you may want to check it out. I found it amusing because when I looked up my name, it said, "Snobby".

I like the name, sounds American to me. I have only heard some, not too many. There were only a couple in my grade in school, and I've only heard one other person with that name since. It's known, but not TOO popular, ya know? I'd use it. It's very pretty, and the ones I knew were somewhat sophisticated and definitely intelligent.
