I've heard about Nigerian scams and I'm trying to see if this will be one. The person says it's his address. I want to know if that's true. Or if there is a way to find the address myself.

firstly i want you all to know that because Nigeria has been in the center stage of corruption does not mean everyone in here are scammer or frauster. there are some that are geniuely friendly and trying hard to make this nation better.
the address maybe geniue, i tell you this and i promised you this, for i have a friends there that can help you to check it out.
even if me too find myself there i can help you check it for now i am in Lagos which is 2 hours drive from Ibadan that you are talking about.
i know for that person to have giving you his address you must have been friend for long time, i dont know his mission or what he want or why you ask of his address, but i want you to be very careful.

Most people in Nigeria don't even have a valid form of ID. Houses don't have numbers on them and stuff. How would you even start going about checking this out? Do you have any idea what Nigeria could possibly be like? They have 1/2 the population of the USA in that tiny area, it's like a big anthill with almost 150 million ants crawling around.
You will never know, nor should you be too interested in knowing.
