When I talk about pain in a certain area or I see it on TV...whatever I'm taking about starts to hurt. For example, I was talking about getting the flu shot on the phone with my mom (I hate shots!) and while I was talking about it my arm started to get a little weak. Also, when I was watching the House of Wax and when Wade (Jared Padalecki) got clipped in the heel, my foot started to hurt. Does this happen to anyone else or am I just weird? haha ;)

some people may think its strange but that happens to me too... But only on my foot, because I had stitches there before. So whenever I hear about some one getting hurt or is, or even of an experience they had, my foot will start to hurt. This even happens when I watch tv too... ITS SO WEIRD

Not the hurting thing but I dread hearing someone talk about their nose running or that they are getting a cold like some of the cold remedy commercials...for some reason I say to my body "body do not listen it is not about you" and my body calms down...LOL

I know that feeling:

When I go through the airport screening - my mind suddenly asks if I packed a machine gun or not. Weird cos I don't own any guns.

I think you're just over-sympathetic toward whatever you're seeing or hearing. It doesn't happen to me often unless I'm very sensitive to a particular event.

That is a little strange. I wouldn't call it weird though, I have had others tell me about similar experiences. :-)

I guess you are just weird....ha ha....It is called hypochondriac.
I do it too, sometimes when they describe the symptoms of an
illness or disease I feel like I have it.
