I pay $25-$30 each year for one. I live in a part of Canada with lots of trees and plenty of Christmas tree farms. I always buy one from a place that donates the money to charity.

Hey, I'm in Canada too. We go to a nice you pick place every year.40 bucks!!!! But I live in Alberta where there aren't many trees . Maybe that's why they're so pricey ....

I personally enjoy a real evergreen tree. But we had some problems with the tree's pine needles falling so much because of the tree being to dry in the hot house. So now we have an artificial tree. And I will have to admit, unlike the old fake trees(that looked like a tree with anorexia!) The tree we have had the last 5 or 6 years does look real! I have had people come over and comment about it being a beautiful tree. And when I tell them that it is artificial, they can't believe it! But the thing you do not get is the smell of a real tree! MMMM! Makes me want to put my tree up now..:)

I can cut a spruce for $25 US, pines are cheaper, but we all like short needles.
Our ceiling goes up to the top of the second floor (17 feet) so we always end up getting a huge tree that nearly gives me a hernia trying to drag it to the car and set it up at home.

Yes. I get a short one (5'); it costs about $30. Our waste management company recycles the trees.

Good for you! I have a new, artificial Christmas tree this year...I am not one for getting live ones...my cats would be gagging for months on the pine needles! LOL

CT. It costs between 40 and 60 depending on where you go and how nice of a tree.

I haven't bought one in a couple of years, but I'm going to this year. I'll let you know. Typically, I buy from the local high school, as they use the profits for the music program.

I don't buy one every year, only once in awhile. Usually I put up the fake tree instead.
