So there's this girl that I liked last year, and I was positive that she liked me too, because she was always staring at me, and giving me lots of clues that she did in fact like me, so I told her that I liked her. But she rejected me. Now, this year, she's looking at me a lot, but will barely let me catch her staring, and then at other times she won't even look me in the eye. Your first thought is "well you freaked her out, and now she's being weird", and you'd be right I think. But, the thing is that now she makes excuses to be near me, and she's almost been trying to make me jealous, laughing really loud with people when I'm around, and then looking at me to see if I'm watching. What's going on?

i think she likes you!! i mean she was most likely weirded out by the whole thing in the beginning but then she probably realized that she likes you too. so i say go for it!! good luck!! :)

I'll second cookie. It sounds like she was in the closet then. It's just taking her time to accept her sexuality and be willing to enter a lesbian relationship. It sounds like she really does like you though.

I don't think she was ready.. When you came clear to her about your feelings, it properly hit her that she has to admit to her own feelings/sexuality and she wasn't ready yet. I think she likes you and has admitted it to herself now, but i would sit back and let her talk to you first... Otherwise she may get scared off again.
