My kids are always first no matter what... and my hubby knows that and he says the same thing..
We love each other dearly.. but in no way are they on the same level.. very close.. like one step away.. But my kids are a part of me... my blood, my love... my everything.. and always will.

Your spouse should come first.
Two things your children desperately need:
1) A stable family that can form the bedrock of their lives.
2) An example of what a proper, healthy and loving relationship looks like.
Children are critically important, but neglecting your spouse because you are so caught up doing things 'for the kids' is not good for anyone.

It depends on the situation if you children are being abused then the kids are more impotant, if it is a situation were the kids are in trouble with the spouse and are trying to get you to take sides the the spouse is more improtant. There is never one better than the other but there are always differences even in the way you love your kids I don't love one of my three any more than the other but I love them all differently.

Yours kids by far until they reach the age when they go off on there own, so many kids have become second best to the spouse/boyfriends/girlfriends. I also feel that their more important then yourself, it's a huge responsibility that some choose to ignore, and that's wrong!

According to the Word of God..... the spouse is more important then the kids. For the simple fact, once you become married you and your spouse are one.

YOUR SPOUSE IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN KIDS.
If you think kids are more important, than you will put your spouse second and eventually you might loose him/her. That will hurt kids very much. Overwise, if you respect your spouse, place him/her #1 ALWAYS, you both will be ok, and kids will benefit from it, not loose.

Both but without my spouse i don't think there would be a lot of interest in the kids. I know that sounds bad but we together keep our sanity to even be around or children.

I love my husband dearly.But if I had to choose.I would pick our son in a minute without having to even think about it.My husband is a wonderful man and I love and respect him.But my son is blood more over he is a life I created therefor are forever bound to. I despise those people who take their love interest over their kids they don't deserve the blessing of being allow to have a child.
