Sun's own documantation isn't too bad. You could certainly start with that.
Once you know the basics, you can probably get help through usenet, if you need it. If your ISP doesn't supply usenet, AIOE provide a free newsfeed, which is really pretty good!
Then there's always Google groups, but you need to give them an email address that they put in your posts. Not much good if you don't like spam! Better to use a usenet client and obscure your email address.
