I don't care where you come from or what skin color OK . If you are so desparate to become an American then why ............
1.Fly your flag on American soil....
2.Speak your language instead of ours....
3.Leave our traditions alone (remember your country & beliefs are bad
4. Quit saying you are being discriminated against ...You came here !!!!!!!!!
If we are so bad why not stay home!!!!

Am I really missing something or are y'all?

The only True native Americans are the Indians
and they did not speak english: The rest of us
came from another country and even though
some of us were born in America our ancestors
came from another place: I came to america
when I was three yrs old from Europe ; I lear-
ned to speak english , .when going to school
in my later years I learned to speak spanish
and turkish so as an American I am more ver-
sitile than other americans, but I do not critize
anyone because one can always learn from an-
other. I even served 22yrs to defend America
when I was in the military, so I would say I have
earned the right to be an american more than
others. I have always gotten along with all
Humans in the various countrys that I have lived
in to include America, and I am proud to be an
American just as I am proud to be of european
descent.

1. its just a flag with colors weather is american mexican or african i have no idea why man came out with flags for they dont mean nothing people 4 some reason put value on flags.
2. i speak spanish and english why cause you dont forget where u came from your roots. cant be ashame 4 what i am.
3. i dont think all beliefs are bad, is people is that make beliefs bad.
4. discrimination is every where, here, there, everywhere, i dont think people go anywhere to get descriminated. is like if u go to a restaurant and their services are bad people is rude and expect people to cross their arms and say well i came here so i gotta put up with it. knowing that u like the restaurant and the food and knowing that is only a few people acting rude. u do what u can to make things better there. descrimination is people who are just ignorant n forgot we are all the same no matter what race color u are.
i couldnt say every one is bad i cant judge a whole nation 4 a few people that are bad that would mean im descriminating everyone.
i kinda know what u mean. i just put it like this dont matter the color race if u dont like here u shouldnt be here.

Unfortunately, not enough people share your lucidity on this subject. It used to be that people came to this country "legally" to work hard and make a better life for themselves. My parents came here "legally" in the 50s,and built their lives from there, contributing to the system, via taxes and Social Security.
My father LEARNED English soon after arriving here, and later became very well versed, sometimes joking with people correcting their grammar. He went on the head accounts receivable for Nestle Corporation for 30 years.
I agree it's terrible to discriminate on the grounds of race, color, ethnic origin or orientation.Just work for what you get.

AMEN to that! I totally agree with you! What I don't understand is why we have to learn all of these foreign languages in high school when all of these people from other countries should be made to learn English! I think that if you live over here, then you should talk like us or go back where you came from!

You know all our ancestors came here as "immigrants". They came here...or doesn't anyone remember to escape English authority and religious propaganda. The first settlers came here and did what they wanted and practiced whatever religion they wanted. This country was founded on the premise that we should all be free to express our religious beliefs. This is the "land of the free". So why is it wrong for people now to try and escape from their countries authority and religious propaganda and come here where the promise is free speech...free thinking...free to be who you want to be. Isn't it bad enough the government is trying to oppress us? Do we think we are so god almighty wonderful that we have the right to judge and oppress others? America as a whole is a bunch of self-centered, lazy, overweight people who have reduced themselves to school yard bullies trying to protect their corner of the playground. I think everybody should get over themselves and try walking for a day in a foreigners shoes to see what its really like.
