Every one has free will and should make their own choices. Respect that and lead you life your way and others theirs, and dodn't criticise them for their decisions.

But you're one of the lucky ones - you have a partner who can be around during the day.
For the vast majority of women, their husband is out at work all day, often well into the evening. I don't think that, under these circumstances, its too much to ask that the woman cares for the house and kids in his absence.
But, I take your point, men generally still leave EVERYTHING up to the women, and that's never been fair. But I feel that we now live in a society where women were allowed to choose how they live, and if they choose to be a stay at home mum, then good on 'em.

drained from engaged on a novel. have you ever made it into print and have been given paid for any literary works yet? maximum have not. You suggested your spouse is barely a secretary and dealing 10 hours an afternoon. returned engaged on a novel. That shows you're working from abode. in basic terms a fool could lease an workplace to do such inspired artwork. Why do not women cook dinner and sparkling? Why do men lay on the settee, hand down pants the different on a can of beer watching television as a substitute of engaged on the motor vehicle, backyard and different useful issues? i'm a guy and single. yet as quickly as I marry and my spouse do the cooking, i would be doing the dish washing (nicely practiced at KP interior the army and lots greater advantageous and speedier than the machines) i'm going to run the vacuum and do the laundry too. discovered to try this after i substitute into 8. A spouse isn't a slave. I won't take care of her that way. As to the previous, maximum men a century or so in the past have been farmers and did actual artwork like plowing and seeding approximately 3 acres of field an afternoon with horse drawn kit. Or working in foundries and heavy marketplace the place artwork substitute into warm, risky and back breaking. hi, i'm a wooz too. Retired metrologist, ex magistrate, present day jr college instructor (unpaid nonetheless) 35+ years as a reserve sheriff officer (returned unpaid, count of certainty it costs me $a hundred and sixty a month in gasoline to do it) Volunteer pushing wheelchairs on the VA wellness center. yet as quickly as a wrestle soldier, as quickly as a driller (not oil wells yet each thing else) as quickly as a technical government classes author. And as quickly as a author for a countrywide e-e book called Gun Week. as quickly as a gold miner, as quickly as a electric powered ability tower worker. Now that fluctuate into heavy not undemanding and unsafe artwork and that i enjoyed it way greater advantageous than being in air conditioned convenience at desks. And in fifty two of my 60 years, I even have by no ability had a spouse or relatives to come back abode to.... very regrettably so.

What are you doing with a 43 yr. old man? You cant possibly have anything in common. He's acting like your Father, not your "partner".

Yes, too many men think they're heroes for 'helping' with the housework. And I've heard so many women boast 'oh yes, my husband does my ironing for me!' "My" ironing! When it's his shirts! Good grief. Your partner has the right idea and by the way there's aren't many men in his situation who would cope so graciously with a 3 yr old invading their neat and tidy home!

I think you're the one with the stereo typical view of men. He is old enough to be you're father, he is financially secure, and he wants you out of the way. He is self sufficient and only needs you for sex.
