Why not get an American Express Giftcard? It saves the hassle of trying to figure out which store to get a giftcard from.

It's really a person specific thing. Last year I gave some people gift cards for Restaurants that I knew they frequented a lot. I gave other friends cards for Starbucks because I knew they were there every day. Same holds true with specialty stores like Book Stores or Clothing Stores.
You can't go wrong with a WalMart Card as a general gift card. Some malls have Gift Cards for the entire mall. That might be your ticket.

more expensive is hollister, abercrombie, n american eagle
n if ur only gonna get 1 or 2 shirts out of the giftcard then, prolly, louie vuitton, gucci, dolche&gibanna
