sony vs compaq laptop?

Question

Which in your opinion is better and why. If you know of any better deals tell me about them please.

Compaq Presario Notebook w/ Celeron M 420, 512MB, 60GB hard drive, 15.4" LCD at Circuit City---$300 or the

Sony Intel Centrino Core SoloT1350 512mb memory 80gb hard drive 15.4" wide screen lcd---$600

Sony is known for durability because of it's quality control. The vaio line is quite sought after because it caters to the top buyers. Buyers who prefers quality and inexpensive. Very good brand & model. As for HP/Compaq, buying it does not incurr higher price but components inside this brand are not only low cost but sometimes no qiuality control. Remember you get what you paid for. The lines in HP/Compaq's complaint department are endless. They are loosing a lot of their customers. I know because I sell HP. HP has so many internal problems which plagues this company worldwide. Good luck.

Hmm well i sam guessing you will know what i am about to say but anyway, the choice of which one to buy is one that really only you can make for a few reasons. a). You need to know what it is you want to do with it, b). Your available cash flow, c). What might you be needing in the future.. I could continue with the list for another 10 or more things but I think you get the general idea.

Look into what each one of these laptops offers by going to the manufactorers website, maybe if possible find one of them in a shop and have a good close up look at it.

When it all comes down to it the last thing you want to do is buy a laptop that won't do what you need it to do so take your time to look around, who knows it is very possible that both of the laptops you mention here are no good for what you need to do..

they both are not nearly as good as HP but if u have to go with one of those go for sony because it will last longer. Compaq's just arnt built well.

get the compaq just get a 2 year warrantty
