It's up to each of us to find our own purpose, no one can do it for us and no one can say we failed at it. If we did fail in this life there is always another one coming up.

I am only part of the human society , so are you and every one else , I believe we are decedents of a extraterrestrial civilization ( I am not being spacey lunatic ) I am serious ... you can take a look at all the architecture of prehistoric origin , massive structures that pre date any thing we have . Our ancestors of the stone age could not have been able to have the technology to create such structures on their own with out a superior technology , and where is the remnants of that technology ? it is gone back up again, there is no record of how it was made . My guess we were left here in the beginning to save the human race from some were else, look, we are in reality in the verge of doing the same once our own world starts to deteriorate to a point where our technology will take some of our people to some distant planet to start all over again .

A bomb is created with a purpose, and we call it a bomb.
I'm sorry to say that I don't see the universe as a whole as being a coherent goal-oriented entity. Stuff just happens based on the initial parameters so to speak. We (I) am here as a result of this - an autonomous peice of stuff that does stuff that summa summarum tends to contribute to maintaining a stable state of processes. Which means that I get to stick around for a while. No 'purpose', but here nonetheless.

Each person has their own answer to that question. Some people would say we don't have a particular purpose and that humans construct purpose for themselves. Those who are more religious, may say that G-d has a destiny for each of us to fufill, primarily to make this world a better place and to use our individual strengths to benefit others. But then the question is, who's to decide what that purpose truly is for each person and humanity as a whole? I think you have to answer that question first, which is not an easy one...

I hate to tell you but we are here to ask why we are here and to seek out the answer to that question. I believe everyone has their own purpose but other humans purposes may overlap the purpose of that one human, its really hard to judge who has fulfilled or even recognized their purpose because its impossible to assign someone with the authority to be a judge so everyone must judge themselves for themselves. We must remember that we don't necessarily have one big purpose we may have many small ones throughout our life. and the fact that we keep seeking for that purpose is what keeps us going--the pursuit for "something we don't know"....but we will know when we find it

if you were to die and after your death you can see your own life you will notice that every human changes or alters someone or something... like stepping on a flower, saying good morning to a random person on the street, by sitting in class not paying attention someone will learn from you either they will follow your footsteps or try not to be like you. EVERY person in this world has changed someone else's life. If a baby is born dead, the mother would start crying and reret that memory for the rest of her life or will start a cause for mothers that have been through the same.

I am therefore I am, and for the grace of God there walk I and you and everyone else. To be or not to be? That is not a question that is a dare. So therefore live your own life in your own shoes, judge yourself only and dont stress out the why's of others. Or you will waste your precious time. For judging others does not ever improve your meaning as a human and that is what counts to all of us individually. To think anything else is foolish.

I have no freaking clue. I wish I did. It would be a lot easier to make decisions if I knew. As it is, life is kind of a blind crapshoot. But I suspect that I am one of those humans who is not fulfilling its purpose, otherwise I probably wouldn't feel so empty inside.

What is a deer's purpose? Provide food and fun (hunting object) for humans?
Your purpose is how you project your life would be. That's your goal, your purpose.

I'm here to make sure nobody does anything foolish. So far, I'm a complete failure, like your dud bomb. People just won't listen.
