I would like to know if you have been scammed / conned before in the hope that I can learn from your experiences.

yes,a few times.I have had my identity stolen.I have had some one steal my bank details and withdraw money from my accounts,and I have been conned into buying a holiday that included airfares,accommodation,and a 4 day Cruise.The person who stole my identify I did not know,but was caught,the person who stole my bank details is still being investigated by the police, as I don't know who done it yet,as it only happened last month,but the bank has given me back all my money that was taken,and the company that I thought I was buying an unbelievable holiday off never existed.I have learnt that you don't buy any thing off the phone,have bills in your name,it lowers the chance of your identity being stolen,and put all your bills away,if you are going to throw them out,make sure the you rip them up real well,and kept your bank details out of reach from every one.Unfortunately I have had to learn these lessons the hard way.

Only when buying drugs or cars. These days I have no desire for either, so I don't think that will be a problem in future. Get rich schemes have never interested me, but somebody spammed me the other day with an offer to get paid for online surveys. I signed up for that, and I haven't heard a peep out of them. But my computer is acting funny again, so maybe I was conned.

Yep and that is one of the reasons we got divorced! Let me tell you, if your hubby keeps coming to you asking for money for gas several times a week (he did have 3 vehicles at the time and I did not think anything of it) and is working two jobs and still has no money for bills, then something is up. In my case unbeknownst to me he got addicted to drugs and was using the money to pay for that...just be aware ok?

yes by door to door collectors showed me there i d and collected money for a christmas hamper weekly from january until november never seen them again after that. yes i know i was stupid.
