In the USA if a business is in the black, it is doing extremely well.If it's in the red, it's losing money. Thanksgiving always occurs on a Thursday and the next day is when the shopping for Christmas is done. Millions of dollars are made on that one day;more than any day in the year. Since businesses do well on this day, it was dubbed Black Friday. Have a nice Thanksgiving.
