Who was called a crbaby when they were little?

not me sorry but i have a 12 year old friend who is still a cry baby. . let me give you an example. it was at my new years eve party and all of my friends and i wanted to play no-lights hide and seek. we did the usual rounds of eenie meenie miney mo and jessie (12 year old friend) was picked to be "IT" she didnt want to be "IT" so she started crying and had to be taken home!

Crying comes naturally when we are little, for our emotions flow freely, unlike today when we are older and have to suppress our feelings and that is terrible. But I was a little on and off until my mother said, "Okay darling if you keep that up I will give you really something to cry about", after a few times and a swat on the rump I learned the difference between manupulating with my tears and the true emotion that is accompanied by tears.

I was called a cry baby if I cried when my older brother beat me up. Nothing like feeling loved and protected (sarcasm here).

True emotions make many people uncomfortable and they teach children to repress their emotions. Those of us who had that happen grow up to have ulcers, arthritis, and many other conditions that are related to emotional stress over long periods of time.

People cry. It's a fact of the way God made us. It's a shame that people deny it and pretend not to feel.

I don't think I ever was. I never cried at school because I was afraid I'd be made fun of, so I always cried privately in a bathroom stall or in the privacy of my own room.
