Yes I spank my children - not hard, just a small tap. it' lets them know I'm serious and works every time. There's a difference between spanking and abuse. I give them plenty of chances to behave before I do it so they know it's coming if the still carry-on.

My sons are all grown and gone, bigger than me. If I spanked them, they would beat the crap out off me.
Seriously-when they were growing up (I was a single parent), if it warranted it, yes I would spank them. With my open hand on their bottom.

I set limits and stay firm to our house rules, no matter who's here, they know if they miss behave, have a time-out or something taken away

I find that the torture methods work the best especially the chinese water tourture always gets the rooms clean in a jiffy,lol jk actually just be one step ahead and clever as hell in your dicipline and have secret fun while your teaching them a lesson.

my mom beat me like i owed her money when i was younger, but only wen i deserved it. i think spanking them onece in a while as a loast resort does benifit
