Just admit it: Islam is a miserable failure as a model for a state. Iran, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq all had enormous wealth from oil revenues. Yet the majority of arab muslims live in poverty; uneducated, unemployed, disenfranchised. And it easier for the Ahmedinijads, Husseins, and Royal Families to blame little old Israel for all their ills. Because the alternative would be to admit that Islam does not allow for prosperity, happiness, and the spreading of oil wealth. Becasue then the people would have the means to realize that Islam is a fraud. Because then arab muslims would open their eyes and see the real obstacle to them living a decent life: their own corrupt, power hungry leaders and imams.
The U.S. gave the Iraqi people the opportunity to foster a democracy and live better lives. They instead have decided to fight their sectarian war, one that dates back centuries, over who has the right to rule over other muslims. What a pity. Now let Iran, Syria, and Saudi Arabia try to contain this dispute within Iraq, and not let it spill over into their own countries. All the time and money spent deciding wether sunnis or shiites will rule the Islamic roost can only help draw all the jihadis away from killing Americans, Europeans and wetserners in general. Maybe in another fifty years or so, these people will get sick of all the killing and turn their piss and vinegar on the sick bastards who urge them to give their lives for a corrupt, violent, intolerant religion. Maybe then the middle east arabs will decide to join the world community in a constructive way. But they will probably just continue to blame Israel and remain in perpetual state of denial.

Damn, you're stupid! Actually most European countries are rather critical of Israel and they've never had much political power there at all.
While not a fan of Israel myself, I WILL give them credit for the fact that they've taken a rather useless piece of land and built a proper country with a diverse infrastructure on it.
