I am Macedonian born in Croatia .My mother is Croatian and by law I have the right to get a Croatian citizenship.I applied for one at the embassy in Skopje two years ago and still havent got an answer.Three months ago I was asked to provide an official document from the time before Croatia became indipendant that's before 1989 in which it is stated that I by nationality was Croatian which is funny because at that time Croatia was a part of Former Yugoslavia and most of the people were Yugoslav. Can anybody tell me if there is a higher international court where I can claim my rights?

Apply for a Croatian citizenship in the embassy of Croatia and prove it by showing that you were born in Croatia. Be persistent on this, try and try until you succeed.
