I know it happened like a week ago but I've been hearing about it all week! Apparently he covered her mouth ahd the next day, Kelly vented about how she thought it was rude and disrespectful but why did Clay do it in the first place? I'm not surprised, she probably annoyed the hell outa him. She never shuts up.

He was stupid enough to put his hand over his mout to shut her up. She was right in being upset. He was only a guest star and she is the regular host. That is not the same thing as if Regis had done it to her or her to Regis. He just wanted to get his way and that is just not done.

in my opinion, i don't see what the super deal is. Clay substitute into in basic terms being humorous. Granted, particularly everyone has a precise to pick whom they choose to be touched with the aid of, yet this variation into in basic terms a playful, non-threatening, spur-of-the-2d gesture. i'm particular Kelly does not have reacted the comparable way if it were the likes of the two Brad Pitt, Matthew McConaughey, Patrick Dempsey, or George Clooney. She needed to keep the interview moving along and that annoyed him. He doesn't know how to be the host of a TV show. She does.
