It's not.
Cow's milk is made for baby cows.
Breastmilk is made for baby humans.

People just have some weird hang-ups. They're used to seeing breasts served up on TV in a Victoria's Secret ad or exploding out of the top of a gown at the Oscars, but for some reason it freaks them out to be reminded that they actually have a biological function.

I think its just because its fluid from a persons body. Something we're not readily exposed to. You talk to, know, interact with, and even make love to, the person who's nursing... thats much more envovled than just buying a jug of white stuff from the grocery.

Alot of people have issues with it.

Like my husband for instance....

It's not the milk they are freaking out about it is how/where/when the feedings take place.

Because most people view women's breasts as sexual objects. It's hard for them to then view them as something to feed a baby.
