I do really want to have the power to change the world, not in a greedy way or in a dictatorial way.

I want to bring about peace and unity, true democracy and freedom for all the nations and unite this world into one nation.

Fair distribution of resources and once I have achieved this, the power can be spread equally amongst the people.

Does this yearning for power make me an ego-maniac of megalomaniac?

LOL at some of these answers...

Theres a song that says it all... "Everybody wants to rule the world"

Your feelings are that of wanting to create a utopian society, and while it is good in theroy, human nature rarely coincides so neatly with these views.

Best of luck on your quest, though....

Yes, there's not doubt about it, but then so is every one else. Who if given the power to do just what you described wouldn't want to solve the worlds problems.

The next problem is once you've given up the power and it is spread equally amongst the people, how long do you think it will take some individual or group to begin taking the power away again?

Could you really give up the power? Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

You are an absolute ctrl freak. You need to see a shrink, or Hitler for good advice on whatever path you choose. You are egocentric, not a megablablabla. You would be a perfect candidate for communism. Perhaps, you should have taken Saddam Hussein's place before it was too late! Maybe you should vacate or evacuate or liquidate Russia.

You are a socialist. All people like you do is destroy economies and progress.

Peace is won with military victory. Kill the bad guys and you win. Muslim terrorists are the bad guys.

The only fair distribution of resources is when someone earns it and they keep it.

What you want is called ignorance of economics and motivation. I call you a communist. You share their values.

Haven't you ever seen that episode of the Simpsons when world peace is declared? Your plan would just be inviting an Alien invasion ;-)

Nice thought & idea, but your socialist mission will not work very well.

There is just to much at stake for the different parties here.
