Vista is getting released and should form in the price range between seventy upwords dependant on the retailer you price it from..

I think its something like that it will only cost you seventy pounds if you go to an indepedent retailer that won't rip you off..

Some dumbasses tend to spend on software properly, as they like having the real version of the files, but I myself will defo download it and extract a version I have tried to allready but it hasn't been released yet... I ain't advocating illegal downloading of os files, but the proper stand alone system versions if you are buying it will cost the same as any other os its nothing special the only thing is its aimed more at buisnesses rather than home computers, you can run it on any spec computer aswell as the minimal spec is 800 mhz processor speed 256 ram speeds which if you buy a computer today spec on them..

It depends on the version you go for, see the options here:

Apparently official pricing hasn't been released but an indication of the cost of the various versions can be found here

Why?

Are you that unhappy with XP or do you just HAVE to have all the latest stuff whatever; if it is the latter, why worry how much it costs! If it is the former, don't expect vista to suddenly satisfy you.
