Why are thing moving a what causes them to move?Wouldnt a restrained Universe really be the cause of all motion?

I would agree w/ your observation that the universe is perfectly contained. There are laws that govern the space and movements of these heavenly bodies. If not, then we would not be here as the earth would have been swallowed by the sun; the sun by a bigger star, etc.

But, what about motion phenomena? If the universe is not perfectly contained then that would be useless, no one would ask that question, and no one would care.

But, for hypotheses: then motion--distance or movement of one body relative to the other--would still occur; whether one cared or not.

What are you talking about?

All motion is relative to all other motion, because there is no such thing as "stationary" with respect to the Universe.
