First time in my life I am DONE - and on my budget exactly. Just need to write out christmas cards and mail on December 1st....I start wrapping this weeknd but the gifts are all marked off on my 6 page list and I am so happy! One thing we did this year for one family of 5 kids who live across country - we sent an email and gave a suggestion which the kids, aged 5 through 15 all happily agreed to - was we went to www.heifer.org and bought a "Gift of hope" - a basket of hens, chicks and geese as well as a hive of bees for a poor family in an African village. Cost $90. US for both and this single gift will change lives!! I love those kids for knowing the true meaning of Christmas and next year i think we'll do more. Didn't know about the site until we had already bought most gifts
