I had few photos attached to mirror for years and now that I took them of there is still some glue from the scotch tape left over. I tried with alcohol – it didn’t work.

Actually, I clean mirrors all the time when I restore the frames. I use four-ought (0000) grade steel wool. It won't scratch the glass. Razors may. Plus, unlike a razor, rubbing with steel wool WILL get all the residue off. You can also try VM&P naphtha, available at Home Depot, it is what refinishers use to get tape residue off of furniture.

You can scrape off the leftover glue on the mirror with a metal scraper that was used for removing paint and other sticky stuff.

Nail polish remover is very good, but if you use a hair dryer on the label you can peel it off without leaving any glue.

EASY, USE A SINGLE EDGED RAZOR BLADE. THEY'RE KNOWN AS SCRAPERS AT WALL MART, THOSE TYPE OF STORES. I'M THE WINDOWMAN AND THIS IS WHAT I DO. WHEN YOU SCRAPE IT OFF , SPRAY SOME WINDOW CLEANER ON THERE ALSO, MAKES IT EASIER.

GOD BLESS
