crops can be destroyed by parasites that thrive in heat
shortage of water can cause heat strokes and dehydration in animals and people
The crime rate increases as people get agitated in extremes of heat

forest fires, animals die of dehydration/heat exhaustion. sun stroke/heat exhaustion in humans. rivers can dry up, soil erosion, can cause aggression in humans and animals. Cant think of anything else, sorry
