This depends on your ethnic origin: some people are darker and tan easier than others. If you want lighter skin, wear sunscreen lotion and stay out of the sun. If you're a girl, you could wear make-up with a highlting creme (that's what Halle Berry does) and a lighter shade of concealer. If you really want to get drastic, there are bleaching "skin lightening" cremes. But use these only as a last resort, or you'll look like Jacko!

Actually you probably couldn't stay light skinned all your life because in some point of your life you will have to be under the sun.

There's this soap that comes in a pink box that claims to give you fairer skin...
I forgot the name of it but you can find it at any South Asian store

well depends on your nationality like if you are blacker than black, then your SOL sorry bud, but wear sunblock when you go outside and try to restrict your time outside between 12 noon and 4pm, when the sun is highest in the sky

use ambi skin lightening products, in the black hair and skin care section.
