Now I love (truely do) Derek Jeter, I think that he's a great player, and any team would love to have him.

But come on! It's over and theirs nothing you can do about it! I'm still seeing answers and questions about how Jeter got ripped off and everything... this is worse than the Terrel Owens Suicide incident. Jeter lost fair and square, no? Then don't just sit their, complain... not to us, to the voters who voted for Jeter. Not gonna do it? Then stop complaining. Jeter was Rookie of the year (back then) MVP in world series (Back then) has a ring, sluggers, gold glove, my god is all this not enough? Especially knowing Yankees have 26 world series rings.

Hey, I am a Yankee fan, and I am defintely over it.

I am over it, because Derek Jeter himself is over it. He admit that his main focus is to earn the whole team a ring, not individual performance. Ge even said that Justin Morneau deserved it more than he did.

The second thing is, I think the reason that I (at first) couldn't get over it, was because I kept believing that Jeter WOULD get MVP. I believed it was TRUE, and wouldn't listen to anything else. But now that you think of it, Justin Morneau did deserve it over Jeter. They both had an "over .320 batting average." Justin with .321 and Jeter with .343. BUT, Justin had 31 homers and more RBI's than Jeter's 14 homers and RBI's. AND, true that Justin was at 1st base, so he had less defense to take care of, than Jeter at shortstop. BUT, offenseively, Justin exploded this year, and I (now) DO believe that Justin Morneau deserves the title 2006 AL MVP.

You are evidently still talking about it. I love the Yankees and Jeter, but I haven't thought about it anymore until this post. So, maybe you need to let it go.

Some Yankee fans think every Yankee player is entitled to every major award. It is the same reason why they think the team is entitled to a World Series every year.

i might like to ensure a glass on your popular team get 13 wins (1st in MLB), have a 2.70 era (6th in AL), 126 ok's(4th in AL) all against the AL East that's the toughest branch contained in the MLB and notice you no longer whinge.

Because they are arrogant.

Jeter has already won 2 undeserving awards, I don't think they should give him a third just for the hell of it.

(Hank Aaron and Gold Glove? Riiight.)
