I seem to have made a bit of a habit of steeling girlfriends off people in my past. I'm embarrassed to say I think it goes into double figures, shame on me I know, but I reformed my character after the last one and haven't done it for years now.
Other than that, nothing more than a bag of crisps when I was 8, got dobbed in by the kid who dared me to do it, and never did it again
Did experience some pretty good thefts during college rag weeks though. It was one of the games of the week to steel the oddest thing possible and bring it back to campus.
Of course you get people come back with shop advertising boards and road signs or plants and bins etc
The best came last though when a couple of fellas landed up with a telephone box and everyone was convinced they had won the prize until one lad rolled in to college right before the deadline having liberated a police car

God knows how many items of food/cutlery and crockery from my school's canteen. I went to a convent boarding school and we weren't allowed to take food out of the canteen, but everybody did it. The nuns were really scary if they caught you and the route from the dining room to the bedrooms went straight past the convent, so it was always a big risk. I think the best one was when I nicked peanut butter and managed to shove the jar up the sleeve of my jumper (and maintain a sweet and innocent demeanour) just as the Penguino Supremo came through the door.

A 4 ft pot plant from a Hotel, not sure if i stole it or my friends but it was in my car the next day. I've still got it..

I pinched a black jack chew when i was about 7 and my sister told my mother after she ate hers but i have never stole anything else in my life.

was told to pick a generator up that we had rented (at the NEC arena) with a forktruck and bring it to the site where we needed it. Turns out i picked up the wrong one and for a whole week they were looking for it and reported it to the cops.
They were really surprised when some guy just brought it back as if nothing had happened to their £15000 generator. oops
