Hi,
My friend is stuck in Nigeria as she was taken over there by an african man who took all her money. How can i help her to get out without sending any money?

Regrettably, I'm going to go with you can't. I suppose you could appeal to Nigeria's government, and you should,but they may be powerless. Also consider they unfortunate possiblity you may be too late. Don't send money, and most definitely don't go there yourself.

Im an expat in lagos nigeria I haven't heard of such a tax

Are you American? Contact the American Embassy in Nigeria. Also, contact the state department here in the US and explain the situation.

If you know this friend from over the internet only, don't send money because it's a scam. Sounds like a scam.

Okay that's being kinda cheap, i'm mean it's going to cost to get her out of Africa. But anyway's it sounds like one of those scams, maybe you should conact the U.S emabassy in Nigeria and tell them she's been kidnapped.
