Like you a double rainbow in the eastern sky and the western sky lit up in brilliant blue, orange and white (This was just observed by so many within the past week in Central NY - people driving pulled off the road just to sit and look at the sky - it was absolutely incredible!)

I would have to say the coolest, I do not know if it was the most beautiful, was a black sand beach with a glacier in the background-and huge iceberg chunks that have fallen off and were floating out into the north sea. It's in Iceland and I believe a James Bond or Batman movie (I forgot which) was shot at that beach.
I have never seen a black sand beach- I thought it was the most awesome thing ever. Felt exactly like beach sand, just not the same color.
I found out later that it is because of all of the volcanic ash that could not break down properly in the cold weather or something like that.

I was with a hunting crew once and we were hunting coyoties. 5 of us were sitting and making hare noises with an aparatus of some sort. We heard howling and stood still waiting for the pray to come. As we looked and expected coyoties a pack of 5 wolves ran out around from behind some trees towards us. The ones in front where white, and were beautiful. Everybody started shooting, I myself was unable to shoot, it was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Not a single shot landed on those wolves and they ran towards us and past us and kept on going. Those hunters hardly miss a shot, I think everybody was just stupefied by it.

Niagara Falls
My family used to go visit relatives there nearly every year when I was young. I finally got back this year. I hadn't been there since 1983.
