Change yourself and you are starting to change the world.

Just remember the song:

"I'm Starting With The Man In
The Mirror
I'm Asking Him To Change
His Ways
And No Message Could Have
Been Any Clearer
If You Wanna Make The World
A Better Place
(If You Wanna Make The
World A Better Place)
Take A Look At Yourself, And
Then Make A Change
(Take A Look At Yourself, And
Then Make A Change)
(Na Na Na, Na Na Na, Na Na,
Na Nah)".

If you walk outside on a rainy day, which is easier: making it stop raining, or having a good attitude about having to walk through the rain?

I think (from personal experience) that we have precious little control over our environment (including political, moral, familial, and employment landscapes, just to name a few). What we CAN control is our own reactions to whatever is thrown at us. Not to mention, a positive reaction from us might influence others, and ultimately might impact the world at large.

Not only do we only have control over ourselves, but changing ourselves is the ONLY way to change the world. I suppose changing ourselves would be easier, given that logic, but I think I prefer to see it as a means to an end.

Changing ourselves, we know who we are and how reasonable we will be, now trying to change the world is more difficult, for we are working with not ourselves but other views, ideas and beliefs.

The world is but a mirror that reflects your spiritual condition back to you,I would say it is impossible to change the image in the mirror without first changing yourself. When you go to a mirror to "do" your hair,do you take a comb & brush and start scratching on the mirror??

If everyone changes his/her self, the world will get changed naturally. Changing the world is same as everyone changing his/her own self. I dont see a difference.

the subject with the countries going alongside all at the same time is that the objectives of the human beings in ability are extreme. The human nature is a egocentric one, we are wolves with one yet another the sole thank you to establish obstacles between us is the regulation, nonetheless no longer the comparable for anyone, no longer the comparable everywhere. human beings can no longer substitute because of the fact they are no longer guided via the comparable set of values, rituals and traditions. all of us thinks is the holder of surely the certainty (faith-clever) we are slender minded via our traditions and we are no longer a hundred% in a position to settle for variety.
