I was looking at India's test history and found something very interesting. In india the Indian Test team has a record of 62 wins 47 losses and 97 drawn matches. The interesting thing is the away record. It is dismal 26 wins 82 losses and 85 drawn matches. Why is this? How can India be so strong at home and perform so poorly abroad?

That is true however when they beat the West Indies, it was the first victory outside of the subcontinent for over 20 years. There is a little more going on than home ground advantage.

Over the last 15 years, every test match India has won has been thanks to Kumble.

As Kumble's bowling is blunted on foreign pitches, we never win abroad.

Who says India is a one-man team revolving around Ghachin?

Since Indian players are very much accustomed with the Indian conditions and pitches, their performance in India is much better in India. Since Indian pitches are flat Indian players are mostly accustomed to play well in flat pitches. However, when they go abroad, the pitches there are fast and bouncy and Indian players find it difficult to adjust to such pitches.

The same is the case with allmost all teams, as their performance at home is better compared to their performance in othe countries.

Keeping this in mind and with a view to improve the performance of Indian players, Cricket Authorities in India have mooted the idea to create fast and bouncy pitches in India as well.

Simple; the condition;

Experience in the Home turf, Climatic condition; home support (both from familes & from supporters) whereas you can't expect the same in overseas.

One more thing is that, we are not Australians; they will be well-settled in all conditions. The major difference betwwen ours and Australia is the only one and nothing but of the SELF-DETERMINATION......
