Hi there. I am having my legs and bikini line waxed for the first time and can someone please tell me is it as painful as it is made out to be. Also can you tell me anything about a brazilian wax or all the other types. Hollywood? Whats the difference and is it really embarrasing having it done. Would be grateful for any feedback

Waxing will hurt, but how much, will depend on your threshold of pain. first time is always a bit sore and gradually over time it should be less painful. If u r getting it done from a salon they will normally put onsoothing lotion to make it less painful.
Brazilian bikini wax: removes all hair from the entire pubic region except for a small patch just above the vaginal area. This will completely remove hair from the labia and any in the buttocks area.
Hollywood waxing: totally removes all hair from pubic area.

The first time may be painful as you will have a fair bit of hair. If you get your legs done regularly - every two months, it doesn't hurt so much. Don't know anything about the other types of waxing. it depends on you as to how embarrasing you find it. Just relax.

Take an aspirin or paracetomol about an hour before you go to get waxed...make sure you've put no moisturiser on your skin and you should be fine!
It doesn't hurt too much really, just don't use products on your legs or bikini line for about 24 hours after the wax, otherwise you may end up with red irritating bumps.

Don't get it done around the time of your period as your skin is more sensitive. Start with the legs a couple of times before moving on to bikini line. ps you'll never hack a brazilian the first time x

I'm sorry i can,t lie to u,lol.i have had 3 children,and id rather have 3 more one after the other.than ever go though that pain again.but now for the good side.it last for about 6 wks.you will have smother legs.but i would have your legs done before your bikini line,as this area is a bit more sensitive.hope this helps,sorry I'm a big chicken.ha ha

yes it does hurt.....maybe not as much as some people make out but it is definatley not a pleasant experience! it also depends on when you get it done. it will be much more painful if you get it done just before your period!

Get the Brazilian...
Get all of the hair taken off...
It may hurt a little the first time but
you get used to it......I am told....

it should not be that painful my sister does it a lot when ur done it will sting but not that bad no it is not embarrasing having it done.

yes ts painful. Buy ome lidocaine cream if it gets too much
